If you're planning to be a college transfer student, the most important thing to know is how each of your courses will transfer.  Not all courses transfer to all colleges, so you'll save time and money by planning ahead and taking courses from accredited colleges that will most easily transfer.

One advantage of transferring within North Carolina, is that most of NC's public and independent colleges already have transfer agreements with NC's 58 community colleges.  These transfer agreements are often called 'articulation' agreements, and the biggest in NC is called the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement.

Use the left navigation to find UNC and NC independent college transfer resources such as transfer guides, course lists, and details about articulation agreements.  And don't forget to check out the Transfer Student FAQs to help you plan a successful transition.
