FAFSA Outreach 2025

Paying for college is a big concern for students and families. Completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is one of the best ways to make the cost of college more manageable.

To assist in this effort, the North Carolina State Education Assistance Authority (NCSEAA) and College Foundation, Inc. (CFI) have partnered with UNC, NC Community Colleges, NC Independent Colleges and Universities, NC education professionals and other educational organizations to provide students with additional support. The goal is to increase our state’s FAFSA completion numbers by offering one-on-one counseling to students and parents who need assistance.

From 6/16/25 through 7/31/25, NC educational professionals will:

• Provide one-on-one FAFSA counseling at participating NC colleges and universities.

• Offer assistance to students who have not yet completed a FAFSA.
