Students Impacted by Hurricane Helene
Our thoughts and support are with those in western North Carolina who have been impacted by the devastation of Hurricane Helene.
For some students and families in our state, there will be a long road of recovery ahead. We know that some students may still apply to college this month as planned, and others may need to alter plans. Wherever you and your family are, we want to express our support as you take care of yourselves and your community.
College Application Week will continue as scheduled, Oct. 21-27. We’ll have more information next week, including specifics of participating colleges and universities. At the same time, we’re working to understand what additional resources and programs may be available in the coming months for students in western North Carolina.
For now, it's crucial that we come together to support one another. We will continue sharing resources throughout the Countdown to College kick-off month, and these resources will be available all year long.
