Transfer Guides
Transfer Guides, formerly known as Baccalaureate Degree Plans (BDPs), have been developed by University of North Carolina universities to help NC Community College (NCCC) students have more seamless transfer experiences. Transfer Guides have been created to support NCCC students who are pursuing a transfer pathway outlined by the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement (CAA) or other specified Uniformed Articulation Agreement (UAA). Transfer Guides outline meaningful coursework at the community college that leads to both associate degree completion and bachelor degree completion at a student’s intended university.
See Transfer Guide Resources for helpful definitions of terminology used in the guides and tips on how best to use the guides in your planning process.
Transfer Guides are currently available for students pursuing an AA, AS, or AE degree. Transfer Guides for other transferable degrees like the AATP, ASTP, and AFA will become available in 2025. Current AATP/ASTP and AFA students planning to transfer should connect with prospective universities for transfer course guidance.
